welcome to the new noble Picard website
18-09-2019
All things change and in this context, it's important to keep information updated. Over time and acquired experience, new ideas come and challenge the old ones; new skills are learned; and new techniques developed.
When I look back on my twelve year involvement with the Berger Picard many things have changed. The passion turned into commitment, the desire to share turned into a desire to educate, and more than ever I am totally passionate about this amazing breed. I wish these few pages convey all my admiration for the breed, as well as my deep sense of responsibility regarding their future, and my gratefulness to all the puppy owners who have lived up to the challenge of rearing a rare breed. I would be delighted to hear back from you. Enjoy your visit! |
all in the familyPeople often come to me with questions or concerns about their Berger Picard. Whether their Picard were born here or not, I always do my best to help them understand these incredible dogs.
Picards are very few and ultimately they all come from the same two dogs, Bambou and Balsamine, who served to reconstruct the breed after WWII. To me all Picards are family and isn't helping each other the cement that holds families together? |
